Greek Forum of Migrants

The Greek Forum of Migrants is a network of migrant organisations and communities in Greece which operates as a secondary union. It was founded in September 2002, and today its members number over 40 collectives. Its mission is to promote the integration of migrants by strengthening their individual and collective responsibility and participation, through cooperation with institutions, NGOs and the society, at national and European level. The Forum envisions a society in which migrants have equal rights, enjoy fair treatment, and they communicate and live together with Greek people fostering mutual respect, and making diversity a source of development and progress for all. Our main purpose is to defend immigrants’ rights for equal work and social integration.
