Efi Proikou

Efi Proikou is currently the President of the Board of Culture for Change, the first Greek cross-sectoral network of professionals in culture and social innovation.

She is a cultural manager with academic studies in Greek Philology and Business Administration, and holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Management. She is a fellow of the START – Create Cultural Change program and a member of the Bosch Alumni Network.

She works as a freelance cultural manager, collaborating with municipalities, associations, and local organizations on the design and implementation of cultural initiatives, events, festivals, and educational programs. Her work focuses particularly on amateur cultural creation, aiming to strengthen the outward-looking perspective of cultural actors through exchanges, artistic residencies, and participation in international activities and events.

Culture for Change (CforC) is a cross-sectoral network of professionals that promotes social and cultural innovation in Greece. Founded in 2020 as a non-profit association, it aims to bring together professionals from diverse disciplines and skill sets—such as artists, cultural managers, museologists, lawyers, architects, and engineers—who engage with the broad field of social and cultural innovation.
